# Resident Rent Payments

**How do residents pay rent?**

Residents can conveniently and easily pay their rent through their Resident Portal- powered by Appfolio- which functions similarly to the Owner Portal. We understand that rent payments can be a source of stress, but with Nomad, you can relax and breathe easily. We guarantee your rent, so you can sit back and enjoy peace of mind.

 

**Does Nomad help residents pay rent when they encounter issues?**

 

If you're experiencing financial difficulties, it's important to communicate this as soon as possible with your landlord and the Nomad team, so they can provide guidance and potentially work out arrangements.

**AppFolio** has partnered with **Flex** to enable residents to manage rent payments through a flexible payment schedule. **Flexible Rent** allows residents to split their rent into multiple payments throughout the month while the property owner receives full rent upfront, on time, and guaranteed by Flex. Residents should visit their payment payment portal to see if they qualify for Flex payments and to learn more about the flexible payment options and cost.
