# Can the Nomad Resident Benefits Package (RBP) fee be waived?

The Resident Benefits Package (RBP) can be waived for the resident by the landlord under certain conditions. If a resident is eligible to opt out of RBP, they must acknowledge that they are declining the benefits provided under the package. It's important for residents to understand that by waiving the RBP, they will not receive the associated protections and services included in the package. Nomad can always reinstate previously waived RBP packages through an addendum; the resident and landlord just need to come to a mutual agreement and notify Nomad.
